I’m pleased to announce the official release of On Your Day Off demo build V0.4! 

Thank you all so much for your support and patience during the development of this build, and enormous thanks to those of you who provided feedback for V0.3—your insights and suggestions were extremely helpful, and I hope you enjoy playing the latest and greatest version of On Your Day Off!

For this release, there are 2 version of OYDO V0.4 available: a free demo and an $8 paid demo. 

In the free demo, you'll get access to:

• The complete playthrough guide 
• 6 complete story routes with unlockable/replayable endings
• 7 additional partial story routes

In the $8 paid demo, you'll get access to:

• The complete playthrough guide
• All 6 complete story routes + 2 ADDITIONAL complete routes (for a total of 8 unlockable/replayable endings)
• 7 additional partial story routes
• Sneak peeks at what's planned in the next release for Levi's route, Daddy Jesse's route, and a new character's route
• A special set of actions available for Levi's route (this is undeveloped content with no art or sound effects, just the writing with interactions)

Updates in V0.4 include:

• Android version—There is now an Android version that can be played on compatible mobile devices! 
  • Please note that if you intend to play with headphones, you should connect your headphones before starting the game; if you connect your headphones while playing the game, the audio will cut out. This is a known issue for Ren'Py visual novels and Android, which will hopefully be fixed in future software updates (there's nothing I can do about this in the meantime, unfortunately). 
• Script updates with more story routes added
• New audio and sound effect for scenes
• Added images for character sprites and full-screen graphics
• "Sequence images" implemented for the "Lazy Day", "Just a Sample", "Satisfying Snack", "Botanical Bros", "Fertile Flora", and "Horticultural Horde" story routes
  • More sequence images are planned for additional story routes in the future, but are not a part of the V0.4 release)
• A playthrough guide—The interactive playthrough guide is accessed from the main menu, and can also be found here. 
  • This guide is currently hosted through Google drive, so to use the interactive elements of the guide, you will need to download it/open it in a full PDF reader program. The guide reflects everything that's currently available and does not account for planned updates for future releases, though it will be updated along with the game for each future release. 
  • Please note that the playthrough guide contains spoilers for story routes!
• Warning labels—New warning labels have been implemented for "spicy" content to let you know if you're on a route that ends with potentially distressing content

Like the previous build, V0.4 includes an easily accessible survey link from the game’s main menu so you can provide feedback to let me know if you encounter technical issues or see opportunities for improvement in the story, visuals, or audio components.
