We're pleased to announce the official release of On Your Day Off demo build V0.5!

Thank you all so much for your support and patience during the development of this build, and special shoutouts to our Recurring Supporters on Patreon and to those of you who provided feedback for V0.4—we couldn't have developed V0.5 without your contributions, and we hope you enjoy playing the latest and greatest version of On Your Day Off!

For this release, there are 2 version of OYDO V0.5 available: a free demo and an $8 paid demo.

• In the free demo, you'll get access to:
  • 8 complete unlockable/replayable story routes (note that while all of these routes have their stories completed, technical development finished, and full images implemented, some of these routes need further polishing, such as additional character sprites, sequence images, music, sound effects, etc.—those updates will be rolled out in future releases)
  • All partial routes that are currently in progress/still under development
• In the paid demo, you'll get access to:
  • The same 8 complete story routes as the free demo
  • 6 more complete story routes, for a total of 14
  • All partial routes that are currently in progress/still under development
  • New and updated spoiler screens available for Daddy Jesse, Master Bruno, Felix, and Borovast

As part of the V0.5 release, we also have a brand new wiki site available for you to check out! This wiki site replaces the playthrough guide that was available in V0.4, and you can use it to:

• Learn more about the cast of characters.
• Review the individual story routes.
  • See which routes have their story content completed and which routes are still in progress.
  • Spoiler warning: Individual route pages include maps that provide instructions on how to complete a route.
  • Each route page shows the themes/kinks a route includes, as well warnings about spicy content and the changes you can make using the content preference settings.
• Review the detailed release notes for the latest updates.
• Learn more about the project and the creative team and get answers to frequently asked questions.

• Script Updates:
  • Added more new content and interactions for Daddy Jesse's section.
  • Added more new content and interactions for Master Bruno's section.
  • Added more new content for meeting Felix at the coffee shop.
  • Added "crossover" content: You can now go to the coffee shop and text both Vince and Master Bruno to access their routes.
  • Added more content for On Your Day Off route.
  • Corrected spelling mistakes and made minor language adjustments overall.
  • Added alternative content for kink scenes (watersports, non-con, etc.) based on content preferences.
• Image Updates:
  • Added new sequence images for: Levi's content, Daddy Jesse's content, Borovast's content, intro section content
  • New character sprites: Master Bruno, The Baristas
  • Added character sprites: Felix, Levi, Daddy Jesse, You (Main Character)
  • New full graphics for Dumb Rubber, Smooth Slave, Good Service, Brainless Service Top, Slave on Demand, and Bottom's Up routes
• Functionality Updates:
  • Choice menus have been reformatted.
    • On desktop versions, the choice menu has been changed from appearing in the center of the screen to appearing to replace the dialogue box.
    • On the Android version, the choice menu's appearance has been updated, but still appears in the center of the screen.
  • Hide text box functionality added. Note: This feature will keep the dialogue box hidden temporarily; when you click/tap to progress in the story route, the dialogue box will automatically reappear.
    • To hide the dialogue box at the bottom of the screen on the Android version, you can either:
      • Swipe down on the screen
      • Tap the Hide Text quick menu button in the top right portion of the screen. 
    • For the Mac/Windows/Linux versions, press H on your keyboard to hide the dialogue box.
  • The About screen from the game's main menu has been renamed to Credits. 
  • The Preferences screen from the game's main menu has been renamed to Settings.
  • The Settings screen now has a new section for Content Preferences; you can now set your personal content preferences to disable certain topics, so you won't see the related content in the game. 
    • To disable a topic, click/tap on it. If a topic is highlighted, it is disabled. 
    • When you initially install the game, all topics are enabled by default. If you disable a topic and then close/reopen the game, the game should keep your preferences saved (although please provide feedback if this does not occur for you).
    • In some instances, your content preferences can have minor impacts on in-game content, while entire routes may be disabled in other cases. You can learn more about the content preference impacts for each route on an individual route's page on the wiki site.
      • Currently, there are content preference settings available for:
        • Watersports
        • Non-Consensual
        • References to snuff
        • Permanent vore/implied digestion
        • Extreme pain
        • Body piercings (e.g., receiving piercings)
        • Genital modifications (e.g., genital modification procedures such as subincisions and vaginal transformation)
        • Castration/penectomy 
  • In-game quick menu: Now accessible from the top right corner of the screen, with new icons replacing the text menu for Back, Auto, Skip, History, Settings, and Save functions.

Like the previous build, V0.5 includes an easily accessible survey link from the game’s main menu so you can provide feedback to let us know if you encounter technical issues or see opportunities for improvement in the story, visuals, or audio components. Additionally, if you're on our Discord server, we have a bug-reporting channel you can use to let us know about issues, while the suggestions channel would be a great place to post ideas for improvements!
