I'm stoked to announce the release date for the latest updates to On Your Day Off: V0.2 is dropping on May 1, 2023!

Writing, art, and development have all been full steam ahead, and we now have some more of the game for you to play and test out! There are going to be 2 versions released: a free demo and a $5 paid demo which has version-exclusive content.

Here's what you'll get in V0.2:

• In the free demo, 3 complete story routes with unlockable endings that you can replay
• 3 Partial story routes
• In the $5 paid demo, the 3 free complete story routes AND 1 additional complete story route with an unlockable ending that you can replay

Based on feedback from V0.1, there have also been some functionality and feature fixes made, including:

• Incorporated custom naming for player character
• Dialogue box height adjusted
• Sprite and script updates
• Sound effects and music changes

Additionally, in the interest of continuous improvement while I'm working on this VN, an easily accessible survey link will be included from the game's main menu so you can provide feedback to let me know if you encounter technical issues or see opportunities for improvement in the story, visuals, or audio components.

I'm still writing more content for this game and making really good progress on it, and the incredibly talented ninetht is making more amazing character sprites and full images!

Now that I'm getting a better sense of how timing is working from a development perspective, I'm aiming for updates on a 6ish-week schedule, so hopefully V0.3 will be dropping sometime around mid-June (so stay tuned!).
