Hi folks, we have an update on how and where we're going to be hosting On Your Day Off—sorry for the lack of communication for the past couple weeks, it's been a busy time and we really appreciate your patience!

Currently, it sounds like itch is looking for a new payment processor to partner with and they've re-listed adult games that are marked as free/not requiring payment or open for donations. Because there's still some uncertainty around what their future strategy/goal is, we're thinking it's a good move to have a backup platform where we can host the future paid releases as well as free releases. To that end, we've started construction on onyourdayoff.com, a new website that will serve as a place where you can: 

• Purchase/download the latest releases (both free and paid versions)
• Review wiki information about story routes and characters
• Subscribe for announcements, updates, and release notes

Is onyourdayoff.com live yet?

• No, not yet, it's still under construction. But if you've joined the mailing list and chosen to receive updates about our progress, you'll receive more communication and a demo of the new site shortly! We'll also announce when onyourdayoff.com goes live, although you can bookmark it in the meantime!

Will the itch.io page for On Your Day Off be deactivated?

• No—at least, not at this time. In a previous post I said that On Your Day Off wouldn't be hosted on itch anymore, but I spoke too soon. That was before giving the matter more intentional thought, and I apologize for that and causing any panic there. For now, the plan is as follows (although please note that this could be subject to change):
  • onyourdayoff.com will be used to host both paid and free versions of each release; it will also be the new wiki site.
  • The itch.io page will stay active for as long as we can keep it going. It will be used to host only the free versions of each release—if you want the paid version of each release, you'll have to go to onyourdayoff.com where you can purchase it for $3 and download it.
    • At the time of writing this, we're still working on the "mini" updates for V0.5 (V0.5.2 is the latest release currently available and we're working on V0.5.3)—all updates for V0.5 are being released for free by default, so there's no paid version to buy at the moment.
  • Our Patreon page is also still up and running, and you can get the paid version of each release early if you subscribe as a Recurring Supporter for $5/month to host the free releases of On Your Day Off.
    • While all updates for V0.5 (V0.5.3, V0.5.4, V0.5.5, etc.) are being released for free by default, Recurring Supporters will get access to these releases 2 weeks early as a benefit of their membership to our Patreon.

Will the current wiki site at https://sites.google.com/view/onyourdayoffwiki/home be deactivated?

• Yes, this site will be deactivated once we've finished construction for onyourdayoff.com. We don't have an exact timeline for this right now, but we will announce dates and next steps as soon as we can.

When will V0.5.3 be released?

• We don't have an exact release date yet, as we're still working on script, art, technical, and sound effects updates, but we're targeting sometime this fall, so please stay tuned! In the meantime, you can get sneak peeks of our latest work on our Patreon page.

The TL;DR of this is that our itch.io page is going to stay up and running for as long as we can keep it going, and we're building a new website at onyourdayoff.com as a backup and as a new hosting platform for paid versions of future releases.
